About

I live in Utah with my family, where the mountains are a daily reminder that the best systems—natural or engineered—are the ones built to endure. When I'm not working, I'm usually on a trail, at the range competing in long-range precision shooting, or finding ways to be outside with my kids. Family comes first; everything else is built on that foundation.

For over two decades I have built, scaled, and operated the infrastructure that underpins how nations connect, compute, and defend. From hyperscale data centers and AI platforms to 5G networks, subsea cables, and space communications, the through-line has always been the same: take what is complex and make it work at scale, reliably, and in service of something larger than itself.

My career began in U.S. national security—leading cyber and secure systems programs across some of the most sensitive defense initiatives globally. That foundation shaped how I think about trust, resilience, and the weight of getting things right.

Since then I have served as an executive and operator across private equity, sovereign infrastructure, and global telecommunications—leading multi-billion-dollar platforms, building teams across continents, and working at the intersection of technology, capital, and execution where ideas either become real or stay on slides.

Today, as Chief Operations & Information Officer at Switch, I lead the integration of engineering, operations, and digital platforms to deliver next-generation data center and AI infrastructure. The work is industrializing innovation—turning complex systems into repeatable, high-performance operating models.

Human Dividend Protocol

January 2026 – March 2026 · Dormant

A Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Network (DePIN) for the AI economy. HDP measured, verified, and compensated AI compute contributions from personal machines through the $HDPT token on Base L2. The thesis: every machine that powers AI inference deserves a share of the value it creates.

Built a seven-layer Proof of Compute verification protocol, nine smart contracts on Base Sepolia, a full-stack platform with four dashboards, TypeScript and Python SDKs, browser extensions, a desktop app, and a subgraph. End-to-end validated on-chain: epoch submission, finalization, and reward claiming.
